The Research Team
In addition to collaborations with other faculty (including Dr. Nicole Blanchett, April Lindgren & Sheena Rossiter), this semester, with funding from the Journalism Research Centre (JRC), we have two new research assistants joining the team: Emylie Ngongang and Yuna Cho.
Previously, Dmitry Mironov served as our research assistant for our research on Podcasts and AI Voice Cloning.

Funding
- The Creative School JECI Grant (2026-2028) – will be used for my project with Dr. Hadiyah Roderique at U of T on objectivity in newsrooms.
- CELT GenAI Fellowship (2026-2028) – will be used for my AI Disclosure project.
- Journalism Research Centre grant (Spring 2026) – used for my AI Disclosure project.
- The Creative School Seed Grant (2023-2025) – used for the research on AI and Voice Cloning.
